For relocation, how much time would you ideally want between getting the offer and the start date to sort out somewhere to live?
I’d want a couple of months ideally, especially somewhere I didn’t know. I’m looking at roles that would mean moving too and having to take the first room I could afford because the start date was so close would worry me more than the actual move. Haven’t done it myself yet though, that’s just the amount of breathing room I’d want. Have you got a start date in mind or are you planning ahead?

Ideally id want a sep 2027 start but the recent ones that pop up have a start date of 1-5 months from now. Hopefully better ones show up since this is my first time applying to apprenticeships.
I’d want a few days there before starting as well, rather than moving in the night before. I still live at home and commute so haven’t had to do the relocation bit, but Id rather have the journey and basic stuff sorted before adding a new job on top
